53 very foggy degrees this morning heading for a high of 72 today. Should be a good work day. Next chance of rain Wednesday evening all day Thursday then highs in low 60s, winter is coming and I hope some good snows(like tractor time pushing snow)

55 degrees when I got up this morning and looking like a good day. We spent most of yesterday serving breakfast for bunch of the people that had attended he wedding and then we went over and cleaned up the area. The tent crew showed up and by 4 PM everything was cleaned up and we were on our way back home. Felt funny getting up this morning without and major projects to do today.

Coffee is brewing. 40° with mostly clear skies this morning. Heading to 66° with clouds moving and rain early this evening. Got the results from wife's test last week. No surgery required. Will only need some therapy and pain engagement. But there is a problem. Doctor will not approve needed care until another doctor signs off. Hopefully we can get the other doctors approval before next available doctor appointment at end of month. Beyond that, did not get started on garden pond winterizing. Good thing wind was blowing leaves away from pond. May get started on it today.

Good morning! 72˚ good chance of more rain today we are at 2.6 this week already. A cold front will hit around 6PM and our temps will plummet to the 50s.

In between showers I mowed around the road coming up to the house with the old blades on the Craftsman Z mower hitting a few rock like I knew I would and then put the new blades on. I did the yearly maintenance on it changing out the oil and all filters. I was going to sell it but my wife likes it just as well as the JD Z so I guess we will have a his and hers Z now.

Ron that is good news that no back surgery is required, hope the docs can both get on the same treatment plan. In my wives family there has been two that have had back surgery, one it did not help at all and the other is now paralyzed.

Drew, sounds like your house is now a complete home again.

This is an original toy that could be fun, but for $90K

While the political forum is a good place to see different perspectives on current events the name calling and personal attacks that they give each other is tiresome and so juvenile. It's the embarrassment forum of TBN.

you bet Don, and a potential nuclear bomb if an employer Googles your name and finds a racist or politically extreme/wackadoo rant on a blog. Stuff on the internet never, ever goes away...

There seems to be no end to how hard women will work to put on a lovely Thanksgiving meal. I wish you happy belated Thanksgiving wishes and offer an atta-girl to your wife for working so hard to make everyone else's day so special.:thumbsup:

It's 69 F here this morning and turning much cooler as the day moves along with a cold front sweeping down across Texas. We should hit the low-40s F over the next few days.

Good Afternoon. 1630, overcast, 80* with 66% humidity. Forecast low of 63* with no chance of rain. I ended up pressure washing yesterday after all. I was going to run one tank of gas through it to get the oil hot before I changed it. But after I got the oil changed, I went back to it. It's kind of like plowing a field. At the end of the day you can see you got something done. I like that.

Today I have been running around all day. First to Marianna to all my thrift stores, stopping to pick up supper, plus Walmart and Lowe's. Then by the house to leave the truck and get the car to come to work. I can get some rest now that I'm at work.

Toppop, I stopped watching the news five years ago. If they are not talking about Yards After Catch, Field Goal Percentage, or Stickers vs Scuffs, I don't want to know it. Of coarse some of it sneaks in. There is nothing I can do about that. But it has been more peaceful since I tuned out.
