Must be a little Tomboy in her, last year she went as Iron Man, this year she had 2 costumes, a Super Girl and a Princess, You can see what she picked, A Princess in a Super Girl costume.:laughing:

67F .04 niches since midnight, nothing like I see on the news. I pray everyone is OK

No fencing done yesterday, didn't factor in the eye dilation. Was just too uncomfortable out in the sun after, so stayed indoors the whole afternoon. Today just have to make up for it LOL

Saw the ISS pass by last evening - awesome sight.

Good morning all. 46F sunny with moderate breeze this morning going to 62F. Finished phase 1 of vinyl to mp3, Stepdaughter records. Phase II will be wife's and my collection. Also on agenda is mowing and leaf pick-up and finish wall painting.
i in rain last week, first week of "normal" rainfall since late June. had been running about 25% of "normal".

Good afternoon, 72˚ Clear skies, bright warm sun after the flood.
Some areas South of Austin got a 12" rain, homes flooded 2 died 2 still missing.
locally I had to take three detours yesterday because of water going over bridges.

This afternoon I will smooth out my road.

I agree with farmgirl, nothing wrong with a Tomboy. My youngest is, 5 foot nothing loves chores where she can drive the tractor, works out every day I can't keep up even at half speed and plays collage softball. Note her older by one year brother plays college baseball so she had to make sure she had his number. Easy for me to remember which one is mine when on the field.

Farmgirl, yep daddy's proud of her. When it comes to the boys she told me not really interested until after school. She has told more than one that keep pestering her " you have to ask my dad" then she gives me a heads up incase they do call, she also told them dad has to run a records check first. But I don't worry about her, after spending an hour with a defensive tactics instructor she put a 6'2" 225 lb. man on his butt!! Do I remember right are you the daughter of a cop?

no problem, DABSGT provides them several sets of handcuffs, and properly adjusts them...

And they have to answer the three big questions:
1. What is a Torque Amplifier?
2. What is the number one brand of ball rosin?
3. Which John Deere models are made in Germany?

and they have to get all three right. Of course, if he's stinking filthy rich, you might

Yes, my dad worked undercover, before I came along. He was happy to have a tomboy, and also taught me things, that I had to be much older to understand. Lessons were there to fall back on, so not wasted at the time. I just didn't understand how all fit within the real world, at the time the lessons were being taught. I realize every day, how blessed I was to have a dad who would share so much info with me, and take me shooting, regularly, since I was about 6 years old. Having fun is one thing, having someone who cares, and teaches life skills is definitely PRICELESS.
