You are making sure that the throttle is at its lowest position upon ignition??

Yes. I let it do it's pre heater 40 seconds, then turn it over and idle it. I also idle it before shut off. The only time it's been started and ran is pickups and drop offs from the dealership. Those guys run it like it's stolen. Most of the time when I'm heading back to park it. I'm running idle in 2nd or 3rd just looking around at what I have just done and what needs done next.
I'm still in the beginning of the learning curve and tend to take it easy.

Mine flashes 4 times stops and repeats. Called dealer said "ignore it". Thanks to the EPA it was put on to meet their import requirements. Sensor has no bearing on the efficiency of the 5530, so i was concerned at first also. All in all the 5530 is a heck of a work horse. It's even great for picking up 4 elk from my field, 320 yards to the hanging meat pole!!

I would not worry to much about the light till you get some hours on your 5530. It will always come on till the engine gets to operating temp. If it is still binking a code after you get 50 or so hours I would contact your dealer.

Elk, now that would look good in the bucket of my tractor. 320 yards is a good shot congratulations on the harvest. All we have around here is rather small deer up to around 150# would be good size. Not many acorns this year and it's all ready getting cold, it might be a bad winter for deer populations around here.

The 5530 is a nice tractor, but with every major purchase I make lately, seems for the price the bugs should have been worked out by the 2 nd year of production.

To brag that you are the number 1 selling tractor in the world should mean more.

I would think the other tractor manufacturers would call them on that. Or maybe they have quality issue of their own.

I'm going to try to fix my arm rest tomorrow and fill the tank, (it's getting cold) if I may get some seat time. I hope if it doesn't stay cold long I'm going to move some good top soil and blend it into my garden spot dirt. I'll have that out of the way, I have about 10 loads of well aged manure coming, if I can get my ducks in a row before it starts getting real wet.

Sure would be informative if we all were able to have a code reference. Save all of Mahindra owners the hassle of resolving these blinking light issues, which to ignore or which have a real concern about. Any dealers out there that can shed light on this would be appreciated by all.

I was told not to baby my 6520 while breaking it in, but to run it like I always would. Never had a problem except a cracked hyd pump pulley and a crack in the power steering right angled hard line at the steering cylinder.
hugs, Brandi
