Harbor Freight Tools that don't suck

I agree, those blue Western gloves are terrific. I bought a red pair a few years ago at the orange box store and although they were nice, I wore through the fingertips within 6 months. I then saw them at HF and figured for less the 5bucks, I'd give them a shot. I now have a pair in my truck, on my tractor and in the garage, can't beat them.

On the other hand, the knit gloves with latex palms and fingers get sticky and unwearable if anything even remotely solvent like got on them, but I bought some similar ones form the local Home Despot in nylon knit with an orange rubber-like coating that I think is actually polyurethane, which is much less sensitive and they got through the washer and dryer like champs. They were sold in a 5-pack and while I bought 2, I wish I had bought several more, though I haven't worn through any yet.

I have big hands and it os hard to find leather gloves that I don't wear thrpugh the fingertips pf in a few days of log splitting, whether by hand with maul, wedge, and sledge; or with the hydraulic splitter (more common these days) and the roping gloves are the exception. They are great, soft and pliable, but also very durable. I really like the blue and black mechanics gloves too, but I do wear the finger tips of these out pretty quickly when splitting, but for other chores they ar excellent.

Look for coupons for the mechanics gloves 'cause they go as low as $3.89 occasionally.

I have not found a pair of XL gloves that fit me at HF (are they Chinese XL?). However Costco sells a 3 pack of leather gloves in XL that fit just fine. I bet I've a 18 pair.

And it's weird, every one and a while it seems all I have are "lefties".

Yeah Drew....Candy canes at the door would be a nice touch for both of us....Time flies on by ...I used to be so envious of folks that lived near a HF store...now I have my own...

Early September we got 2 copies of AARP that had the 25% off coupon. I used one then photographed the second one on my Samsung Galaxy Note 8, the coupon expiration is January. I have since gone in 4 times and just shown them the picture on my note 8, and they copy the number down. Before that I've gone in with ONLY the coupon number and rec'd the discount.
I recently rec'd another 25% off coupon good till 2/18/14 from www.valpak.com, you can get the same coupon there. Plus coupons for their freebees.

I was at a HF store a month ago with my 25% off coupon from Rural Missourian. I was annoyed when the guy ahead of me said "oops, I left my 20% off coupon at home". Cashier said no problem and scanned a 25% off one she had received earlier.
