Understanding all the brands and manufacturers

Guess you wouldn't like a commercial grade backhoe or front end loader either.
Every one that I have ever run required forward/reversing a lever with your hand

if that was my only option, then I would have to deal with it. However, if given the choice I would take a hydro myself.

Worldwide Mahindra is huge, and about 90% of what they sell they also build themselves. In the USA, where they are now #3 in the 80HP and down market, we see more of a mix of Mitsubishi, TYM and Mahindra built tractors since the USA market involves a lot of hobby farmers and rural lifestyle folks.

Someone mentioned Iseki as a supplier for Mahindra, and that is not the case. I think Iseki built for Massey, and they are a good tractor.

Good to know ...

And yes, Iseki builds Massey.

The MF 1500 and 1600 series are Iseki. They are a very very high quality unit, in Japan they are considered premium over both Yanmar and Kubota, and others. As you study the pedigree of small tractors in Japan they rate at the top. I don't have to explain Japanese quality, think Lexus. HS

The current open station models with 2 digits, the 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, and 50, are made by LS. NH did not have LS build a cab model so they restarted their cab model line that are being made by Shibaura. They are the 4 digit Boomers 3000 Series with CVT, the 3040, 3045 and 3050. There was a thread showing the new for 2014 open station model Boomer 47 that is an LS Tier 4 with a Shibaura engine. Supposedly the Tier 4 models will not end with 0 or 5 but will be 47, 51, etc. Just what I have been able to piece together.

The CVT units are not built by Shibaura, they do have Shibaura engines and front axles, but the rest is CNH. They are also built in a CNH factory.

Where is that factory?

Or you could get an LS G3033 with loader (loader lifts 469 more lbs than the LA524 on the Kub) for roughly $16,000 and with a better warranty.

Or a Jinma JM354 for $10,700 with a loader.

Those looking for the best bang for the buck should look at Jinma or Tytan. I understand there are some great deals on used Tytans right now. Bad dealers should be a huge factor in where to buy and the OP has taken that into consideration.
