Buying Advice Is an SCUT overkill?

The 0% didn't exist with Kubota but sure did with Deere.

I never talk about financing till I know I have the price where I want to be. Kubota was $1700 higher for a financed price, Deere didn't move a penny. And comparing what I paid for my TLB to others I got a darn good deal to boot.

Kubota has been doing 0% for a long time. You get a rebate with Kubota if you don't finance.

Same with Deere for me. The price was the same cash or financed.

I think it has to do with volume, and I'm sure they put a bit of that financing cost into everyone's price.

Your last statement says it all.

Heheheh. Then Roger,,,, doesn't that mean the cash price is less than the financed price??? Clever wording on their part huh... :)

Yes, but with that said, it was the same price as Kubota, and less than Kioti or Massey for comparable (or in some cases lesser) equipment.

It does sound like you have a temporary problem with the water that you would want to fix regardless of what mower/tractor you choose. As to mowing with a 4wd cut, you can take it out of 4 wd when it is not needed. My loader is easily removed but I mow with it on... just lazy. A loader is an extremely handy tool to have, so I would go with something like a BX or a B in Kubota or similar sized in other brands. I have seen little 4wd compact tractors for sale from time to time. You might be able to find a used one with 1000 hours or less. Check craigslist.

At least they give you some incentive for paying cash. The rebate is through Kubota. The dealer reduces the prices and gets reimbursed.

Yep Roger, I totally agree!!!

I used to mow with this. Best part about a SCUT is you gain other uses like these plus many, many more. Go SCUT.

Lost the Kubota in a fire, so now mow with this.

You are Welcome.

I had always mowed with John Deere until I bought that Kubota. Bought it used with 300 hrs for $9000 as it sets in the first photo. It outmowed every John Deere I ever owned. Great quality cut, very little scalping. Deck ran on the ground.

After my fire I thought I wanted something a little smaller to mow with. The JD2210 is a nice unit, but won't hold a candle to that Kubota. Should have went back with another B model Kubota. I mow 3 acres including 1/2 mile of highway roadside.
