Well we've been iced/snowed in for three days now. Could get out and go somewhere but spent so much time getting ready for this storm we thought we would just sit around for a few days. But I find that I have made a few mistakes.
The first one happened when we, that is SWMBO and I, decided to clean out the pantry. "Do you want this?" she asked as she handed me a three year old package of dried seven bean soup mix. I decided that it would be a good lunch and put it in a pot to cook. Then I ate the whole thing. By myself. She doesn't like soup. What I didn't eat for lunch I finished for supper.
She moved to another bedroom about 2 in the morning. Still can't walk from one end of the house to the other without sounding like a semi gearing down.
Second mistake was moving wedding supplies from my storage building's upstairs to the sunroom so she could work on them. (Not for any of ours, wife is putting on a wedding for somebody else that we don't even know. Long story.) Wife's idea was to pull the Toyota around and load everything in the back, then pull the car in the garage and unload it. Not a good idea I told her, easier to just carry everything across a hundred and fifty feet of glare ice. Easy to do when carrying a hundred pound box.
It was not pretty or graceful. Don't think there will be any permanent damage.
She is also sewing. It is my job to rethread the serger which I have done three times without sewing my fingers. But while helping her cut out a pattern (I am bored) I managed to stick a needle the way thru the little finger on my left hand. That was the third mistake.
I am very bored or I would not be typing this.
Maybe I can vacumn the house again.
