Good morning!!!!

Only way to know it is Sunday is the paper is thicker! LOL

The significance of the day of the week does get lost. Not a bad thing after many years of Monday Mornings. :D

We don't get a newspaper delivered. It would be more pain fetching it in bad weather than it's worth with everything online now. The twice a week local rag comes in the mail.

I'm glad you have the roof on your building before winter got serious.

Although I am still playing at working I am home most of the time. Keep tract of the days by my pill box, those golden years! We got the roof on and that is good news, did not do the ridge vent or final roof cap, but it is secure for now. We will try to put more siding on this coming week, but that might be it for this winter. I put my Feather craft boat inside it yesterday so that boat will be comfortable this winter. I do have a Ranger bass boat that I will also put in once we stop building work. Just nice to have the enclosed space.

I think the storm has passed us now and looks like a foot or so out there. Time to get ready and do some plowing then inside next to the wood stove for the rest of the day.

The accumulation, so far, has exceeded the predictions...we have at least 12"...probably closer to 14".
Heading out...more later.

thank goodness we didn't get what the Northerners got, our sleet must have been their snow.
but I had to come in for a different shovel, there's a layer of ice half an inch thick over everything.
Started the truck after, thank goodness, I remembered to loosen the wipers.

I shoveled the walkway into the front door to the driveway and gave it a rest. Have to move the suburban before I can bring out the snowblower.
Need to be careful with it, blowing ice chunks can do a number on your mailbox, etc. This is the kind of stuff that tests the mettle of your snowblower.
If it keeps bogging down in first gear and you have to take half swipes, quarter swipes, it's bad out there.
The good news is that it's going to hit 40 this afternoon and that will really help. So I don't have to get the last little bit off. As long as the sun hits it, it's history on black macadam.

and for those of you with plows, the big ones, good luck missing the lawn edges. No peeling...

back out I go. I put one of those bean/flax filled neck warmers in the microwave for two minutes, and wrapped that around my neck. Aaaahhhhhh.

16F snow rate slowing down but the winds starting to increase, should be some drifting later onto day w/fluffy snow.

10" has fallen w/couple more inches plus to come, like the wise ones I to shall wait until storm done.

I guess I better plan on removing snow from roofs just in case we get that nasty freezing rain/rain towards end of the week. :(

Drinking second cup of coffee. 44ー with clear skies this morning. Heading to 64ー with mostly sunny skies all day. Should be a good afternoon to put weed and ant killer down.
Good Morning All.

Rained all night, cloudy and cool now, about 40. Looks like the sun might show up later, but windy and cool.

Good Morning all. 32 degrees and a light frost on the ground. Projected high is 59 degrees. They said 64 yesterday, but it never made it past 52, so who knows. Finishing off putting down quarter round in the master bedroom, and that completes the new floors. Then it's tractor time. I have a nice pile of compost built up to spread on some bare spots in the pasture. Drought and overgrazing damage. Hopefully getting some organic material back in the soil, coupled with all the rain we have been getting, will get some recovery going in those areas.

Still too cool for a ride today, so probably another long walk. Should be able to get back on the bike by midweek(?) if the temps are correct.

Happy day to you.
