Thanks for the Anniversary Wishes guys. I was able to leave work early and we had a nice supper. Then I watched FSU basketball. You know you've been married a while when that doesn't get you in trouble. And I would be happy with old out board repair as a gift.:laughing:

good morning all. 20 out, cold, but apparently balmy compared to some of you.
don't have a lot planned today, which is nice, but need to drive a bit to a local rv dealer, the one I want to use from
now on, and buy a towing dolly from them. they are doing warranty service on something they didn't sell, so I'm trying to throw some business there way, develop a relationship.

One week to Christmas! Ho ho ho.

twas 34 when I left. The "farther" north I went, I saw snow. A dusting, the trees and bushes all looked so pretty with the full moon coming out behind the clouds.

I have no idea what the weather is suppose to be like, I am hearing 60-70's by the weekend.

Yeah! I could have watched a lot of grass grow with that type of windfall. It would have been really cool to give a few million to numerous charities. That was crazy money. I wish the winners, best of luck!

We had a FEDEX delivery about a week ago...guy came in an old Subaru Outback.

I was referring to this region, Roy. I have no idea what they're doing other places. We use to have the same when they first bought out the old express company. I literally got deliveries in an old rusted out LUV truck. UPS does a deal with USPS as well, where the mail carrier makes final delivery.
A half inch of snow overnight, 28 now, cold and windy today, then near 70 by Sunday they say. Weird!

Good Morning!! 46˚ clear skies heading to 70˚.

Yea!! the wood splitter arrived yesterday evening and in an hour all the fun was over with.
That little thing can really split the wood and I'm not sore at all this morning. I did a review and pictures on the TBN thread Harbor Freight Tools that don't suck - Page 388

Congratulations Larros. Ahhumm - watching basketball on anniversary night - sounds like you are still in need of more training - only 23 years - there is still time.

Coffee is brewing. 50° with partly cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 76° with partly sunny skies. Ford truck survived the orange tree pull. Was not as easy as was thought. But the tree lost. Today is Flea Market day. I am sure I will find something I do not need.

TdDon, delighted your escapee from Las Vegas finally showed up. Your other thread is fun, and I bet you were a happy camper when you looked back at that nice pile of split wood. Maybe it goes back to our caveman roots, but there is something just satisfying looking at a big row of wood you just split and stacked. I just love the different smells you get from different wood. Does mesquite have an odor as one might guess?

Carolina mesquite does have a unique smell, and cooks good Carolina style BBQ.

adjective, but somehow it just rubs me the wrong way. Kind of wish there were less labels and ones that were more useful.
