First, if you do buy used avoid the
BX24. 2nd, sell the old tractor to someone that wants it.
I've owned most of the Bs and most of the BXs and one L3240HST. I recently sold my
BX25 and currently have a
B2620 FEL BH. I'd rather have a
BX25, my favorite Kubota. The B has higher ground clearance, weighs a bit more, bit bigger FEL, will dig a bit deeper and will dig thru tougher stuff a bit quicker than the
BX25. The
BX25 is a bit more maneuverable. The
BX25 is .....well, I never tried to talk my self out of going out and moving a tree, bush, hole, help a neighbor dig a hole, move something like I do with ALL of the bigger tractors. It was MORE FUN and MORE MANUVERABLE than ANY of the others. Well, looks like I've almost talked myself in to trading my
B2620 FEL BH with under 50 hours back to Barlows for that
BX25 that he has sitting beside his front door.
With well kept tractor prices up near new prices and with new tractors having 0 down 0% for 60 months and full factory warranty, well that seems obvious answer to me but I like to have as much stuff as I can for my monthly income which I don't save for when I get old, I'm already old.
Now if I can just not go back to Barlows until next spring.
