We're sorry about the fit issue you are experiencing! I have a few options for you: if you know how to weld or know someone who does, some 1/4" shims welded in the top bracket of the pallet fork attachment should make it nice and tight. We could refund you some to offset the cost/ time of doing this. We can also do a frame swap for you. This won't be able to be set up until Monday and the holidays would delay the shipment of your new frame. Please let me know how you would like to proceed. Thank you for the picture too. It is always informative to be able to lay eyes on the issue.

Nice prompt response. Need to figure if I want to deploy my meager welding skill on it or have em swap em out.

My welding skills are somewhat limited but if it were me I would take the partial refund and weld shims in myself. Nice to see a quick response and good customer service these days, seems like an almost lost thing.

why dont you get some 1/4 inch materiel and practice making some lap joints. and then go for it. Did you see Chucke2009 posting his welding series yesterday? He covers lap joints. It will be less hassle to do it yourself, and you will feel very good about doing it.

Good, they did step up as I thought and as they have for years. I have 3 of their devices and two were perfect, one was not.

It still blows me away as to why Titan and others don't just put some quality control in place, it would have to be less expensive for them.

Had the same problem with mine, Titan bent over backwards to resolve the problem.

As to your welding skills. In this case it won't take much to hold shims in place. If you can goober up a bead on each end/side of the shim it won't move. Not like it's carrying any load and is being smashed into place when the forks are loaded.

I as wanting to get a pair of pallet forks & bail spears form PalletForks.com but with so many saying they need to have them fixed before they use them by welding on a shim I haven't done it. I have no way to do that or take they to be done. I didn't want to take the risk with my SS check.

I wonder how many others read about the problems and decide to buy elsewhere. You would think that it would be a priority to fix the problem.
