Kubota Backhoe Question

   / Kubota Backhoe Question #11
Okay thanks rmk700
While I got yall here, I have another question for you.
Are you able to move the boom with your bare hands from side to side after the tractor sits overnight. But as soon as you crank the engine, it stiffens back up? This happens with the front end loader bucket too. I can step on the bucket and extend the cylinder, then it will shrink back when I step off.

No, I can't move the boom left or right at all by hand when it's not running.

   / Kubota Backhoe Question #12
I can sort of get two cylinders going at once with my Kubota, but it is not like my Case which is a real backhoe. I attribute it more to the Case having twice the pump and about the same size cylinders. Having said that, I use my Kubota more due to the quick attach. On and off in 5 minutes.

You can "feather" the valves on any of these hoes to get two cyls to move at once. What the Case
prob has is valves that are better for feathering: chamfered edges on the spools.

It takes practice, for sure.
