I haven't seen anyone post about this show. ??
If you haven't seen the show it's about a Recovery Company in Canada that is handling some hair raising recovery calls on a treacherous highway with snow, ice, rock slides and avalanches.
If you have ever done any recovery work or just wanted to ride along the show is very good! Almost nobody arguing, fighting or put on situations.
They have large, state of the art Rotater Wreckers. One show showed them picking up a 40'er from the factory with a price tag of $750,000.00.
It's serious situations, one show they were untangling a handful of semi's that wiped out on ice/snow when they discovered a dead driver pinned between vehicles. He must have gotten out of his rig before the crashing was over. They had to stop at that point while law enforcement took over the scene.
Not sure the regular time it is on, I just check W C when surfing channels.

I liked it when I watched it some last year. I think they are still airing reruns from that season.

I also used to enjoy watching O'Hare Towing on "Wrecked: Life in the Crash Lane". Those boys had some nice equipment too.

Excellent show. Another show is "**** on the Highway" about 5 competing tow companies in California. Don't know the channel but search your system to find it. Very similar to the Jaime Davis operation, but equipment is not as tricked out.

Interesting show. Have the DVR set to record them so I can watch when I have time. I am a little behind though because the last one I watched the new wrecker was still 2 weeks from being finished.

It's become a recent favorite of mine. I also set the DVR to grab any new episodes. I think in one episode Jamie Davis stated that The Rotator cost $729,000. Must be some big money in towing & recovery!
Pizzaguy - The new rig is now a couple of months past the delivery date.

Good show. Filmed out in BC. I like the lack of fake drama. Cant stand most of the other "reality" shows.

I think on one show he mentioned that the Rotator got something like $300/hr (could have been even more) on scene. So yup, there is money in recovery!

Good thing the Coquihalla provides so many opportunities for them! That's 2400+ billable hours to pay for the truck. Not counting fuel, insurance, the staff, etc.

Around here a Rotater is $750 per hour and that was 5 years ago. I bet today its $1000.

It could very well be that out there too! I was going from somewhat foggy memory.

It was on an episode where they had the rotator at work, then Jamie said to take it back to the shop because it was costing the accident victim too much, then he said the number. Could have been $300 could have been $1000... All I remember is that Im glad I wasnt paying!
