And now for the ultimate rube question:
Do they have wild Indians there? Will arrows go through my motorhome?

Of course not silly boy. However the rifles they stole from the calvary might be a problem. Just stay on the main roads and do not listen to your GPS - the Texas directions have been hacked and will lead you right into an ambush.

Good Morning. 1015, clear, 51* with 93% humidity. Forecast high of 64* and low of 50* tonight. No chance of rain until Thursday.

Today is a big day...getting on the tread mill after getting a year, or two...'s, worth of dust off it. Have a universal gym and a recumbent bike, they'll get dusted off too. My number one new year resolution is to get healthier. A common one, but sure important.
I was at 260, went down to 210, back up to 230, headed for 200.
Less lard to haul around can only be good for my back anyway.

Drew, I did the yo-yo thing too. A couple three years ago I got up to 250, lost down to 220, then settled out at 235-240. I had been trying to lose, and had got down below 230. But in September I started doing two 600 calorie days a week. Since then I have steadily lost a few pounds every week. For the last two weeks I have been visiting 199 after my low calorie days, then living the rest of the week at 201. Now with the holidays behind us, {well except for the black-eyed peas and ham hocks on Wednesday} Maybe I can get back on the losing track.

My bike died a few months ago, and I bought a 'new' one last week at the thrift store for $8.00. {have I mentioned I don't like spending money?} I was driving the car that day and it wouldn't fit, so they are holding it for me until they open back up after the New Year. I have been walking at work since I've been dieting. I started out at half a mile and increased that as I could. Now I'm up to two miles a day, and flirting with doing it in 30 minutes. {4MPH} You need to start out slow and work your way up. Don't try to do it all the first few days.

I used my Gator to plow this time...actually works pretty good but due to the camber on my drive, I don't get down to bare asphalt. IF we get what is predicted for Thursday and Friday, I'll probably have to use the tractor to get those piles further from the drive.

66F 5.57 inches since midnight, 8.26 inches last 30 hours. Still raining.
A spectacular lightning and thunder through yesterday and especially last night. Our Mamma girl boxer spent the night between us, but I can't say she slept much. Can't say I've ever seen her this sensitive to thunder and lightning.

Here's a pic of my morning:

Will be interesting to see how full the two relocated catchment tanks are.

Have a great day.

We had about 7" fluffy of snow, all cleaned up now. The winds are picking up with the clearing skies, we could get some drifting today.

Friday is not looking to be much of a fun day with 8"-12" of snow and a high of 2*F forecast. Why did you have to bring that up Thomas and Roy? Killjoys.

We just dress for the occasion...anyway, if I get too cold, I just go inside for a coffee and warm up...
