Loader Can you lift round bales with a Kioti DK35SE?

Some folks are using the wrong Kioti loader for their numbers. The CK35 has the KL130 loader, which maxes out at 1,155lbs at the pins to full height, and breakout force of 2,046lbs. I think the 800lb bales would be possible, but 1,200lb bales might not be....maybe to just barely lift them off the ground, and move them. The KL401 loader on the DK series would handle 1,200lb bales with no problem.

But this is the DK35se he is considering, with KL351 loader at 1415 lbs to full height at the pins. with over 2600 lbs of curl.

Yeah, I read too fast...corrected my post. I think 1,200lb bales might still be a stretch, but it should at least lift them enough to move them around.

Would it be possible to bring a hay spear and one of your 1,200 pound hay bales to the dealer and see if the tractor will lift it satisfactorily?

Thoughts here: if said tractor is used the fel can move short distances. You may need a counterweight on the three point hitch or may not. If hay bale is on trailer and you were to take off, take off trailer, get onto the ground and use the three point with pallet forks or a bale spear to move longer distance. The three point with either one of the attachments I mentioned are very stable PLUS the 3 point fork attachment can lift other items.
Having said this :

Good friend of mine bought a john Deere 4510 with the largest loader he could get. Its 40 horsepower 4wd. The loader easily handles bales. I'm sorry I'm not familiar with kioti line of tractors but I would go slightly larger on a tractor and the largest loader for the tractor. I understand having to move haybales with a smaller tractor. You don't need 50 or 75 horse tractors but it will be a lot more manageable with them.
