To paint or not to paint - I need painting advice for dummies

Before we were just talking about paint. This is more than that.

Body shops are going to be in their busiest months of the year right now. So, they are not likely to have much interest in this kind of project right now.

When it stops snowing, things will slow down.

If you have a vocational school in your area, that is another option. They may be looking for projects to work on.

I am not interested in painting my own tractor. If I decide to paint, I will want to seek a professional painter in my area. Dust free area, the right equipment, sanding, primer, final coat, I live in Springfield, MO and need someone to paint my tractor.

I know this is an old thread but thinking about it some more I would say to anyone who has some trepidation about painting their tractor to keep in mind that we're talking about a TRACTOR. What better thing is there is try your hand at painting? Anyone can learn to paint something like this and have it come out looking respectable. It ain't rocket surgery. If I can do it, you sure can too. Forget the expensive equipment. Paint, Harbor Freight HVLP gun, you're practically there.

Do you think the first tree limb that scrapes the side of it cares if it was professionally painted?
