Hey, do you guys have burritos on this thread?
Perhaps unwise for you, not for me, "statistically speaking" all my kids, wife and half the neighbors should be dead, but they're not and are all responsible gun owners. "Statistically speaking" my house should not have been broken into three times with an attempt while we were home.
I won't tell you what is wise or unwise in your home, please provide me the same courtesy.
Good point, well stated.
I'm the liberal speaking here. Liberals are not all of one belief...same could likely be said for conservatives.
I have a CCL, do pocket carry always when dressed, loaded and chambered, 9 mil. , same weapon that took out Trayvon. I consider myself trained and practiced but avoid bravado talk, never brandish and reveal I carry only to family and very, very close friends and TBN. Every situation will be unique and deadly force is warranted ONLY as a last resort in an actively life endangering situation. I've never found good judgement to be teachable, some have it, some don't.
So far, have found only one dead human body on the ranch. Bad things happen even if only rarely, statistically. I didn't do it but I want to always be prepared defensively should the true need ever arise. Better to be prepared and not need than to need and not have.
And, that's my liberal point of view. Y'all may have your view, just don't try to make me change mine. That tends to rile people up.

We are saving the burritos until our "liberal aussie hoplophobic friend" shows back up.![]()
Agreed, "liberal" and "conservative" is used all too often as a uniform descriptor. Many if not most of us are far too diverse in our opinions and beliefs to so easily judged one or the other. I'm not sure I could even come up with a uniformly agreed upon definition of either.
