McDonalds.....Don't Eat the Food!

I wouldn't let my dog eat at McDonalds.

Actually, that is the only reason why I go there. My dog loves their ice cream cones. Of course, with no opposed thumb, I have to hold the cone.

I like their cones and the caramel Sundaes, too. Cheap and good.

. I got out of there right after they took our whips away and made us use rattle pads (they look like a cheap canoe paddle) as a means of directing the livestock. We keep a few head for food at home.

i have had longhorn cows about run me over when trying to direct them into a chute using a paddle rattle. sheesh!

I went about 20 years without eating fast food. Used to like it though. Just got out of the habit. I recently ate at a hamburger place to see what it was like. Tasted ok, but when leaving I felt dizzy for about 30 minutes. I sat in the pickup in the parking lot for a while and waited for it to go away. Then looked it up online. Turns out it is not all that unusual. Apparently can be caused by the salt and MSG. Back to home cooking for me.

MSG has that effect on a lot of folks. One reason many have to look for the No MSG sign if they are going to eat Chinese food from a restaurant too!

No, the pooch gets the ice cream. I used to grab an occasional burger and fry there until it started getting the unpleasant side effects.

I think getting dizzy from drinking whiskey is normal. Getting dizzy from eating a hamburger is not normal. Maybe I am old fashioned.
