A good day!
Got my tractor high centered on hardpack snow today, and used the FEL to move it backwards several feet to free it, a technique I have never used before. Darned if I know a term to describe doing this...anybody care to enlighten me? Thanks.

The technical term is Hyrdaulicalunstuckitivness.
Is this the voice of experience we hear??? :drink:I call it "pushing out" but it is just a common sense maneuver. But it does not always work. When the mud under your front wheels and loader is like very thin chocolate pudding, and you get an old refrigerator door and some old boards and concrete blocks to put under the bucket to push on, and you push all of that to China, and it all disappears, That is when you do the "walk of shame" and go get help from the neighbor. But it does work a lot of the time, and can get you out of a situation that all of the 4WD and differential lock that you apply is just not going to get you unstuck.
That would be the key part.Smart. Inexpensive when it works.
