Upgrades to my Kubota L3010

I use my tractor on my 20 acre property to clear roads, pull logs, mow about 3 acres and whatever else comes up. Over the last year or so I have added a few items to make tractor time safer and more efficient. Just thought I would share these with you folks.

This is a pelican box that works great to store a cell phone, tape measurer, first aid kit, etc.


You always need a cup holder. This one is a repurposed military trailer harness housing.


Having hooks on the bucket just makes sense, I use them constantly.

The cup holder started out as a housing for a wiring hook up on a military Truck. It had a flap lid on it that I removed. It is made out of aluminum and it will hold a can or bottle. Works pretty well!

Did you take regular chain hooks and grind them flat before welding to the bucket or does someone sell hooks ready to weld?

Very nice additions, I just put grill guard on mine after I straighten the grill out.:laughing:

Utopia Texas, you can get that type of hook from Ken's Ken's Bolt on Grab Hooks <<Weld-On>> or Truck and Tow, we put them on ours.

The local Bota dealer stocks these weld on hooks. They are beveled on the bottom edge which makes for a good weld.

TomSeller, I bought some hooks from Ken and the quality is suburb ! Even the packaging of the product is carefully done and you get that quality feeling when you open the box.
