Still working on taxes. Starting to come down with something. Hope a little sun will help get me feeling better.
Good Morning All.

I'm still working on taxes too. I started to get them done early and found out that my Vanguard brokerage acct will not have 1099s available until Feb. 18th. Bummer:( We have a nice refund coming and I'll try to convince Kathy that she needs a new car, something close to the size and style of a Honda CRv. She wants something big enough to be easy to get into and out of and still has good gas mileage in the mid-30s mpg. I like the new 2014 Ford Escapes, but I don't want to buy new. I'd like to find a nice used car with 10-20k miles. I also would like to have a little more history on the new Escapes. We have a Ford dealer just 6 miles up the road, so maybe I can work with them to find a low-mileage used Escape. I really want to buy a Ford if I can. Their stock made me lots of money and I like to support "made in USA."

made in Kansas City.

My suburban was built in Texas. Maybe it doesn't need
gps to get there, just finds its way home, like a good horse.
If it's gone in the morning, I'll know which direction its headed ;)

Lot of Ford Escapes sold around here, lot of hybrids too.
The new ones are snazzier but I liked the older style too.
I usually go to Edmunds.com and put the used car info in, and see what the reviews say.
would probably work at motortrend.com too.

and i just know you are going to send it up this way.
well, will test the snowblower any way. Had to take it apart today, put a new plug in, checked the choke action, it just
wasn't running right, even with Sea Foam and fresh gas. The plug was dirty, but not enough
to tell me what was going on. Still doing most everything with my left hand, but doing a little PT with the right.
Well, that's what I'm calling it. Hard to believe they make you take about six nuts out before being able to even get to the plug;
probably to keep the water out ,but they could sure make that easier with a little engineering.
It was running low on power, seemed to die too quickly. I'm going to check the augers to make sure nothing is bent; it stumbles a little even starting
the snow augers even at no load, never did that before. Probably the crappy fuel again. I might have to drain it out and try again.

Not what I wanted with this snowy weather. Though if it's light, my leaf blower is going into action first. That worked seriously well on the light dry snow before.

Saturday night. Not quite six o'clock yet and it isn't pitch black out, so that's an improvement. Expect to get some light snow tonight and tomorrow.
will wait for Buppies weather report. He's the best.

16F here, and going down. Yuck. I tried to post earlier today, but my network here crapped out. Joanie did a 5K this morning, in 6F weather. She is still trying to get warm!! Celebrated her finishing the radiation schedule by going to the Olive garden with friends. Very good service, good food. I am kinda tired, but we are supposed to go to some friends to watch a movie. Not crazy about it, but will probably go. I plan on sleeping in tommorrow. :)

Even with Seafoam, my guess is still your carburetor due to corn squeezings in our gas these days. Get your hands on some AVGAS and use it for all your small engines that get stored. I started my Yamaha after 4 years of storage with avgas in the tank.

Don't worry, Drew, I'm neither rich enough to pay for, nor a big enough thief to steal all the fuel needed for a Suburban. We assemble them in Arlington, Texas and then ship them out quickly to people who can afford to fill the tank.;)

The reason they are assembled down there, is that Texas is the biggest state for sales of Suburbans, and full size Trucks, and SUV's.
