If you take $15-16K down to a full service Kubota dealership, my guess is that you're within a whisker of buying a 4 or 5 different diesel powered Orange pieces of equipment. Bear with me, but you could probably be in the ballpark of the top end BX, a lower end B series, perhaps an RTV, an F series front mower, perhaps some kind of skidsteer and maybe even the top of the line zero turn, (although I've no idea what they cost).

So, if you've got $15 or $16K to spend, Kubotas got lots of things to spend it on. Are any one of those machines "better" than another? Objectively? Of course not. Subjectively? As in what you need to do YOUR tasks? Yes. Get the right one to do the job for you. They're all Different That's what the are. Kubota is in the business of making Different products to meet people's buying needs.

Thanks JohnThomas somehow I missed this one in my searches.

Some people get all bent out of shape when people ask a question that was answered already within the last 10 years. To me that's stupid, plain ole stupid.
First, the search on here is OK but not great. I occasionally use it and most of the time it doesn't bring up my question/answer because I may use a different wording or it's just not the best/simple search program out there.
Another reason it's stupid is people don't always know they even have a question and some people have an answer they learned the hard way and don't share their answer until someone asks the question.
Another reason this is stupid is there are people joining TBN daily and are learning what questions they don't know they have by seeing posts and reading them.
Another reason it's stupid is there are people that will never ask a question but will see someone else has and go "Oh yeah" I was wondering about that.
It's just stupid to act like someone is "stupid" by asking a repeat question.
Another reason it's stupid is there are new joiners with new answers and they don't search for questions that they can answer but will answer with their experience when they see a post.
If anyone has a question, post your question and see if someone has an answer and there are lots of people here with actual hands on experience with the specific Kubota tractor (this is the Kubota forum) that you have questions about. You'll also get answers from people that don't own a Kubota tractor and never have but they will still answer all the Kubota questions even though they have no experience with it. Look at the bottom of their post or side and you'll see what they own then assign a credibility score to them in regard to the question.:D How credible can a non Kubota owner actually be?:D  :D
Any way, post your questions and those of us Kubota owners that don't mind answering will answer and be happy to do so. We've been where you are and I didn't know about this forum for a few years. It would have been a great help if I had discovered it 11 or 12 years ago but alas I did finally find it and have been mostly happy since.:cool2:

:D Being a Counselor I never call anyone stupid (well, not very often:) , maybe tell them what they did was maybe a little dumb but rarely stupid) and my parents would have hurt me if they ever heard me say it.That I used it here a couple, well, so many times I guess shows how stupid it is in my opinion for other posters to try and make people feel "stupid" for asking a question and not using the fantastic TBN search feature.:D

I read one to 3 books a week so always hunting for good authors. Went to my local Library and got one David Rosenfelt book, only one available, and have about 6 more on hold for my Kindle when they get turned back in. Appears to be an in demand author.

I read the first four of the Andy Carpenter series but wasn't aware there was a fifth. Great books, I'll have to get the last one now. There are no Kubotas in the books that I can recall though. ;-)

Bob,
We'll have to write Mr, . Rosenfelt and request he includes a few Kubota's in his next book otherwise Mohamad Christie will boot us off the TBN site
