Oh for cry out loud: From the Oxford Concise Dictionary (10th edition); canard (noun) "an unfounded rumour or story." - Origin C19: from Fr., lit. 'duck', also 'hoax', from OFr. caner 'to quack'.

sparc was telling us a furphy. I can't be clearer than that!

Well, why didn't you say so in the first place?

The scientific support for Ley Lines, in spite of repeated attempts to portray them as "Dave's delusions", continues to accumulate.

Enigmatic 'ribbon' of energy discovered by NASA satellite explained -- ScienceDaily
After three years of puzzling over a striking "ribbon" of energy and particles discovered by NASA's Interstellar Boundary Explorer (IBEX) at the edge of our solar system, scientists may be on the verge of cracking the mystery.

In a paper published Feb. 4, 2013, in the Astrophysical Journal, researchers, including lead author Nathan Schwadron of the University of New Hampshire, propose a "retention theory" that for the first time explains all the key observations of this astrophysical enigma.

A three-dimensional diagram of the retention region shown as a "life preserver" around our heliosphere bubble along with the original IBEX ribbon image. The interstellar magnetic field lines are shown running from upper left to lower right around the heliosphere, and the area where the field lines "squeeze" the heliosphere corresponds to the ribbon location. The red arrow at the front shows the direction of travel of our solar system.

Cosmic roadmap to galactic magnetic field revealed -- ScienceDaily
Scientists report that recent, independent measurements have validated one of the IBEX mission's signature findings -- a mysterious "ribbon" of energy and particles at the edge of our solar system that appears to be a directional "roadmap in the sky" of the local interstellar magnetic field.

Unknown until now, the direction of the galactic magnetic field may be a missing key to understanding how the heliosphere -- the gigantic bubble that surrounds our solar system -- is shaped by the interstellar magnetic field and how it thereby helps shield us from dangerous incoming galactic cosmic rays.

Cosmic ray intensities (left) compared with predictions (right) from IBEX. The similarity between these observations and predictions evidenced by the similar color regions supports the local galactic magnetic field direction determined from IBEX observations made from particles at vastly lower energies than the cosmic ray observations shown here. The blue area represents regions of lower fluxes of cosmic rays. The gray and white lines separate regions of different energies: lower energies above the lines, high energies below.

A scientist who does not know what a gram is?

This scientist certainly knows.

gram: any of several leguminous plants (as a chickpea) grown especially for their seed; also : their seeds
gram: grandmother
Gram - Definition and More from the Free Merriam-Webster Dictionary

and

The name Gram is a Latin baby name. In Latin the meaning of the name Gram is: Grain.
The name Gram is an English baby name. In English the meaning of the name Gram is: From the gray home.
The name Gram is a Norse baby name. In Norse the meaning of the name Gram is: Sigurd's sword.

Note that Dave has started using strange symbols in his messages. In yet another delusion, he has thought it necessary to supplement the standard alphabet. Chalk another one up for the General Theory of Delusion.

It must be your browser. Windows 2 is not an economic order quantity.

The supposed geese could be holograms or fiendishly disguised drones. Geese are everywhere from schoolyards to front yards. They could be keeping an eye on us without us ever suspecting.

So, what role does Mother Goose play in your theory?

Mother Goose. Of course!

How does Mother Goose know where she is going? Does she ask an economist?

One of the nonvisual cues that is believed to aid bird navigation is the earth's magnetic field. Now don't try this at home, but when magnets were placed on the heads of captive birds, they did not fly in the correct direction even on sunny days.

One investigator noted a change in direction and altitude of migrating birds when a powerful underground antenna was turned on, interfering with the earth's magnetic field. Even more interesting than a bird's ability to navigate is its ability to "home." Homing is the ability to find home when a bird is released in an unfamiliar place or from an unfamiliar direction. How waterfowl actually do this is not at all clear.

Sounds like Ley Lines to me. :duck:

Told you inverted V's were antenna's. Now we know they are to confuse the geese!

So, are you proposing that the erected pallets form a crudely disguised hangar for CIA controlled avian cyborg drones with the distance between structures (500' approx.) being the take-off/landing areas required for such hybrids?

:scratchchin: It's plausible.

It's always about the eyes.

I'm still working on who's behind the goose drones. I hate to think it but, one particular world power comes to mind. It had a huge contingent genius scientists working on secret weapons and a miletary that was obsessed with the goose step. I thought they'd been defeated.

As the resident goose scientist, what do you know about goose pimples? I understand they can be a real problem.

Pimples usually go away when a goose passes puberty. If your goose has an extreme case you should seek the help of a good dermatologist.
