Fuel prices!

Don't know what you are complaining about . I was just looking at the pumps yesterday in Italy and they were 1.696 Euro per liter for diesel and 1.796 per liter for 95 octane gasoline.
Cab driver was cursing his Euro diesel vehicle and is soon going to trade it for a gasser. The shop fees to keep the emissions diesel running is more than $ than gasser operating costs.
It was a Chev diesel 5 speed manual that was very similar to a 2013 Equinox but had two extra tiny fold down seats in the back to seat a total of 7.

Farmington, Maine 04938. Gas was $3.54 - $3.56. Diesel was $4.40 at the only place in town a TT would be able to fuel. It might be the only diesel in town.

Fuel prices just dropped here. Gas - $3.55, Diesel - $4.30

And now they've all jumped back up to $3.70 here this morning for gas. Diesel stayed the same.

News report here yesterday said fuel prices would be going up 40-60 cents per gal. by Easter. Of course, it has nothing to do with another holiday travel season.

You have to wonder, looking at the Ohio by county map, why someplace like Holmes County south of Wooster would be higher than surrounding areas. Must be the Amish using up all the fuel. :laughing:

Diesel is just over $1.50/l here, or about $5.70/ gal.

Well here in the central coast area of CA last week I saw 91 octane actually higher than diesel, for a week. 91 was 4.19 and diesel was 4.15 Then they all went crazy. Now they are something like 4.19 for 91 and 4.25 for diesel. I didn't really look but I think 87 octane was 4.09. It's really nuts how prices go. When we allow something entire nations run on to be controlled by the whims of a stock market, there is NO common sense or reasoning why.

Putin could fart and prices would fluctuate. He has already threatened to ruin our economy if Obama does any thing to stop him.
