Did you find a tractor?

Congrats! Hopefully it will be a good tractor for you and serve you well for many years.

Yep, I ordered a new J2023. Should be here in a couple weeks.

Congrats on your New machine and TBN rules apply. Need Pictures please.

Cool...congrats! I'd love to have a J2023 for some of my chores, but I think the wife might steal it! Pics when you get it, or it never happened :D

Thanks fellas. I'll be posting a lot of photos since there is not much info and photos on the J2023. I'll probably start a new thread in the LS section.

Well then maybe it's better to forego the dual peddles in favor of the position control. Nuff said? ...probably not nuff. :)

Hey folks. I'm in a similar position. I'm looking at the LS J2023H and also the LS J2030H. I see where Olympus (sp?) didn't like these tractors not having position control. I've seen the G3033H up close myself, and it has knobs for position control similar to the old way Farmall did the Farmall Cub, Super A, etc.

Is there any reason something like this manual setup couldn't be adapted to the J2023H/J2030H? I thought I had some photos to show what I'm talking about, but not this time.

There's no way to rig any kind of position control for the J Series tractors. The 3pt lever works like an auxiliary hydraulic lever. There is no way to rig a stop that I can conceive. It really wasn't that big of a deal to me. I never used position control on my last tractor.

Thanks Olympus for the quick answer. I'll try to swing back by this weekend and take better photos of the J2023H in my area if it's still there. Please let me know what you think of your tractor once you get it. I'm definitely leaning towards the LS series, but need to get a few more things sorted out first.

I do remember the ground clearance at the front - just behind the front wheel at being a little over 15 inches tall. That's from a tape measurement I took with me. It could be a bit more or less depending on how you look at it from an angle.
