Kubota BX2660
What do you all think? I'm seriously thinking of pulling a John Thomas and selling the BX2660. Not sure if I'll go BX2670, BX25D, or most likely B2620. I want to sell mine outright, and it may take longer than the end of March.

I think it's an offer Kubota offers often and they "end" it occasionally to prompt people into buying. Worked for me this time because I told the wife it was ending this month.

I bought one last year and again this year on the 0% deal . Looks they run them at least once a year . Maybe more than once a year also .

When the ole US of A stops printing excess money, interest rates will rise fast when our latent inflation soars. When money can be made loaning money, then all these 0% interest rates will disappear just as fast. Then when you are really paying to borrow their money the price of the product should fall as much as they have inflated the selling price; HA! HA!

First, the 0% will probably continue for a while but maybe not. Kubota usually advertises the 0% but does sometimes change the number of months. A few years ago they had a true 0% by giving no discount with cash but now have a cash discount and that to can change so usually today is the best day to buy so you can start enjoying it. If you got the $750 loyalty cash you have more incentive thru 5/31/14.
I bought a BX25 a few years ago and got the BH 98% justification because I have 6 septic tanks on rental property and it has been great and a money saver because of using it for the business (deduction) but I don't plan on ever giving up a BH now because of how handy it is for my home landscaping purposes. I like adding and moving grasses, bamboo, trees and rocks to much to not have a BH and my brother (next door) also an avid landscaper and other neighbors would hate to see me without a BH.:D If your going to trade for a new Kubota with full warranty for just a few dollars more a month for the trade difference (How can you not under such strong justification) and do home landscaping and like the convenience of having equipment available to fulfill your every need and desire, get the BX25. You'll never regret having the BH available and if you sell it one day, you'll get most if not all of the additional money spent back. The B2620 will be stronger and sits higher off the ground and you will notice the difference for sure after trading. I like my B2620 but prefer a BX25 if I can get the dollars right, today. If I trade today Barlows will own my B2620 FEL BH under 40 hours and they will trade it to/for your BX2660, contact them.:)

I remember with my last purchase it was 0% for 60, and when I applied, they came back with 0% for 84 mos if I wanted.

I think when you add up the actual grand total cost the 72 and 84 mo 0% cost more money than the 0% 60 mo. I "believe" the over 60 months is a buy down interest that has been available for some time. You can go to the Kubota Internet site and go to financing and see the current options for Kubota Company financing. They've advertised 0% for several years but the months have changed and some machines don't always qualify for the 0% for 60 months. The F models don't follow the usual promotional interest rates and RTVs some times have different rates than the banner ad promotes. I've been burned a couple of times by buying when the months have changed because I could afford a payment divided by 60 but not by 48 or 50 vs 60.

Run the numbers before jumping on the 0% deal. The $1000 cash discount and other financing is much better unless you don't plan to pay it off early.

I'm actually running numbers to sell my BX2660 outright, and use the cash to pay off a higher interest loan, then finance the new B2620 at 0%. The difference actually is not much after looking at the interest I'll pay on the higher note, and reappraisals to renew the terms on a Home Equity loan next year. Yes, it may cost a bit, but since I'm eyeing a new tractor, it opens the door and let's me breathe. Now, if I could stay with a BX2670, I could trim an additional $2500 off the top, but something about a larger frame, more capacity, not 3pt issues if I want to share implements, etc. make the B2620 a more desirable choice.
