I doubt this will make you feel better but I had a similar experience with Les Schwab. I placed an order for an ag tire that was 'in the regional warehouse' and waited. Two weeks later no history of the order. I repeated this process a couple more times when they promised it was in some other region's warehouse.
I think they had a phantom tire listed in inventory that wasn't located at any specific place.
This is the exact problem I just experienced both with Hoye and GCR. They both showed they had the tires in inventory, then come to find out several days after waiting they didn't have them after all. It's really frustrating. GCR didn't even have the courtesy to call me back. At least Hoye called back after 2 days. I still thought that was excessive because they told me they were going to ship the day I ordered. Now I'm worried the same thing is going to happen with Les Schwab. If it does I'm really going to be flabbergasted. I've never had such a hard time finding tires for something in my life. This is the sort of frustration which leads to me buying newer equipment. I love the tractor, but I can't handle this amount of stress and effort to try to get parts.
