Does that come with a seat that swivels around for backhoe use? Looks like it does. That's pretty nice.

:welcome:

I got my my Max25 last year. FEL, BH and MMM. Other than a minor problem shortly after delivery, it has been a champ. I've been happy with it.

One suggestion is that anything, like turnbuckles, that can come loose paint them fluorescent orange or yellow. The gray blends into grass that you'll never find them again.

And yes the seat swivels for BH use.

Congrats, I have the same unit as you got and it is a versatile machine. You can get that little sucker up close to the house and in places that the BIG tractors can't. I use it for hauling split wood to the house- open the French door's and wife unloads while in the house. I know that sounds weird, but less debris gets in the house than multiple trips on foot.

I have used the tractor for more chores than I ever thought possible. You will too!!!

Another suggested add-on. Pallet forks. You can get ones that only do about 1K lbs for about $200. But that is all I need. The former owner of my property worked(s) for the railroad. He used railroadties for fence posts and other stuff. I have/had at least a hundred all over the property. They are too long to fit in most buckets but generally are over 75# and less than 200#. The forks allow me to move them without getting out of the seat.

I'm going to be able to mow parts of my yards/fields this year that haven't been touched in too many years to admit to.

Had fun trying out my new MAX 28 yesterday! My step son enjoyed it too! I had him using the loader in the snow piles, he got use to it right away! Very easy to use! Today I want to read the manual a little and get use to taking the attachments on and off. We have Kubotas at work and it looks like the backhoe and loader come off similar. The drive over mower deck will be a new experience though.

You'll enjoy it for sure! The loader detach isn't too bad. It seems for me that putting the legs in the 2nd hole from the top works best. Coming off is the easy part, getting back on is a little more challenging, but not bad. Last two times I've tried to reattach, a hyd hose kept trying to get pinched in the docking slot so watch for that. Not sure if a tie wrap came loose or what but I just tied it up with another out of the way. I still haven't taken the deck off and need to soon to service good. It's the pto disconnect I haven't figured out yet and it's a little tight and hard to get to. I may take it in soon for service and will have them show me if I don't get to it before then. Enjoy! Hope your snow melts soon. We've already mowed 3 times down here in S Louisiana.

The MMM is actually fairly easy to take off. I dropped the MMM, for the first time, after the last mow in fall because I wanted the clearance for snow removal. The thing that they don't explain in the manual is that the end of the PTO shaft attached to the the PTO drive under the tractor is a slip collar. Pull the collar away from the gear and that will come off easily and allow you to collapse the shaft's length down.

I took the backhoe and loader off the other day and they were both easy! Then I took the mower deck off and that was really easy! I left the mower deck off, it looks like it will be awhile before we will be mowing (still snow here). The loader and backhoe went back on easy. I am very happy with my tractor!
