Went to court again today. Postponed again until May 8th.:mad:
I over heard my neighbor's lawyer tell the prosecutor that his client was difficult to deal with.:laughing: He also said she says she doesn't understand what he is telling her. The prosecutor replied maybe we should have a mental evaluation done on her!:thumbsup:

In a just world, if your neighbor was found mentally unbalanced, they would lower the property taxes on all abutters. :D

I wonder what happens if she is found to be unable to comprehend legal proceedings? I'm not sure that is a good thing for you.

At this point I would think you should be adding to your claim as you have given up work and attorney's fees to be there.

"Difficult to deal with" :laughing: I've heard that exact saying before... from a realtor! I was looking at some land adjacent to a land fill for my MX track. After making an offer, I discovered some interesting facts about the property that the realtor failed to disclose. #1, half of it couldn't be developed because of the land fill and the land fill would eventually take it over. It couldn't be subdivided and had other restrictions as well. The realtor for the seller was a big shot and in fact the president of the real estate board that year. This was a small potatoes property. Why was he even involved??? A meeting was set up to discuss these new issues and I would be rescinding my offer. They offered to take $1000 off the asking price saying the land would be valuable because the land fill would have to buy it. I doubt the county would asses it very high if they had to buy it down the road. I said this meeting was a waste of time. By the time I drove home, there was a message on phone that now they were willing to take $3000 off. I called the realtor and said no, not enough. He said, "You don't understand, I have a very difficult client" :eek: My gut feeling is the woman who owned the land bought it from the realtor several years before and never did her do diligence but now is on the realtors case to sell her "garbage" property.

the aggravation is costing you big time

Aggravation is a mental state that is under one's own control. I wish I had learned that lesson when I was much younger! :laughing::laughing::laughing:

Surely it is easy to say, and sometimes very hard to do, but I am learning. :D:D:D

Me thinks the initial aggravation was when the OP's fence was torn down. At this point, one can look at the situation as a waste of time and painful, i.e., an aggravation or as a way to settle the issue or even get back at the nut job. One adds stress to your life, the other not so much. :)
