Today I worked on the front of the hood and boxed it in and remounted the headlights inside . This should increase my top speed

YEAH BABY! :D

Neat...have you built a Sherman tank yet? Best not as that might lead to a B-29.

Thanks ,
No tank yet but I have spent a few hours looking at how they build them . I think I could do it
Todays progress I decided to use the two tri-rib tires I bought 2 years ago at the Walloon Lake Steam Show.
I am building a narrow front swivel system for it . aaatriribtires.jpg

I think Waldon that if you wanted to, you could fab up a sheet metal nuclear reactor with your skills.

aaalight.jpgNo Nuclear reactor projects ha,ha.
Today I worked on the front section sheetmetal and boxed in a 3rd light on the front nose. I should get it all roughed in tomorrow and then next will be the last step to build the hitch that will connect them together .

Todays progress shows the sanding and painting done on the narrow front nose. 8 bolts and the front comes right off and the snowblade goes back on for winter use. Once I get the hitch made I may remove the narrow front and just build a cute normal bumper on front:confused2:aaadoodlebugnarrow.jpg

Nice progress Waldon!

Very neat build. You could always build a mini combine head for the front

I have to ask Waldon but in this picture you took of your "buggy", behind you and hanging on the wall is a picture of a large excavator shovel. I was wondering what this is. Thanks

Thanks ,
The big mining shovel in the picture on the wall is a 33 yard Terax rh-200 . I got to actually operate it and it was one of the machines I built a model of one similar to it.
Been gone on vacation and got back to welding in the shop again yesterday . Todays progress picture shows the hitch and the steering wheel done. I took some 1/4 inch steel plate and cut out the parts with the Plasma Cutter. The steering wheel was just a added touch for more confusion:confused2:
I should get the yellow stripes painted on this week and finish the project and take it for a test drive.
now I am finishing the fender mounted storage boxes.
