$750-$2000 EXCLUSIVE LOYALTY CASH REWARDS certificate from Kubota?

Dealer offered $12k on trade. I want the cash. Listed for $12k, but the few interested want to relieve me of it for $9k. Ill burn it up before giving it away... er... trade it, but that defeats my purpose. Keeping it listed on Craigslist. Well see.

Dealer offered you $12 and you want $12 . What am I missing? When I trade with Barlows I finance the entire new purchase at the 0 down 0% for 60 months and he gives me a check for the total amount of the "trade in" which he is purchasing. The "trade in" is then his used tractor for sale and the trade in/sale to Steve Barlow has nothing to do with Kubota. He also gives me his bottom price on the new Kubota that's owned by Kubota for the same price as he gives everyone else doing the same type purchase program with all Kubota rebates/discounts/etc.
Kubota tells dealers the price for the sale and then if the purchase is financed the dealer gets their cut sent to them. It's different than new car and truck dealer sales.
I have two payments left on a Kubota I sold last year.
PS. I guess one of my "secrets" for trading so often has just been told. I draw my equity back out while financing at 0% for 60 months. I think I've told it before but maybe not as clearly. Also did the same often times in the past with cars when I needed some cash. When I needed cash I'd go buy a new car.

That's the problem. Dealer offered $12,000, but won't give me a check. They want the $12k to come off the trade and me to finance the trade difference. I want the cash to pay off a high interest loan. The dealer considered giving me part of the tractors value in cash, but only a few grand.

I took your hint and emailed Barlowes. Since I am like you, kind of, at almost 4 tractors in 12 years, maybe the deal with them will be better. Driving means nothing to me. This would be the third 0% game I'd be playing like you. We'll see what they say. I'm hoping they cut some off the MSRP. I'm considering a BX2670 with all the toys, but asked for a B2620 price as well.

I'm still sort of ticked off that I didn't get a coupon. Maybe I'm mad because I tossed it in error and maybe I just didn't get one. I can't imagine that. Either way I don't like being odd man out when I buy stuff and refer people. So far I'm sure it's my error.

I've been thinking of a holdover M6040 or 7040 so if I do a drive through next week and find one they'll either have to find a coupon or grow one.

When do these coupons expire?

If I didn't I'm probably going to call Barlow. It's not a far ride for me and I'll bet JohnThomas would put on a wonderful feed for me, top off the truck with gas and maybe fill a couple cans of diesel. only kidding


Plus I'd probably get treated right at the dealer, being a FOJT and all.

I hope Barlowes gets back to me. I've heard from some they are slow. In the meantime, I'll keep it listed on Craigslist and maybe sell it before hand. I see grass growing, high-priced beat and abused iron for sale, and can't figure why calls are few. Every call I get does come from several hours' drive away. Maybe my area is just dead.

The dealer that you bought from rec'd a print out with peoples names and probably the number you need. Call them and ask

I think they do. I usually just go roost in one of their chairs and harass Gary till I get worked in.

Called my wife and asked if she had seen anything from Kubota. She said she had thrown some junk mail in the recycling bin and sure enough, there it was. My dealer's customer appreciation days are the end of next week and I haven't bought this year's tractor yet.

She's a keeper. My wife's reply to anything from a tractor company would have been "Nope, haven't seen a thing." :laughing:
