To sumarize, it's actually an imitation of the Kioti DK series, the D stands for Duh!
Kubota actually wants to confuse their potential buyers more by selling their tractors secretly through JD dealers. There is the little d and the big D and a few e's hiding in the bushes of select farms awaiting discovery.
True story. Act accordingly.
Think it will hit 200 posts.
I have it figrued out....after spending a week in Florida and drinking those rum-rum-rum and rum drinks it all became clear.
TheD stands for DIFFERNT
THIS is a true story. I bought my first Kubota brand spanking new tractor from the John Deere dealership in Harrison Ar. (at the time). The also had a Kubota dealership in Mt. Home Ar. I went to the JD dealership and couldn't find anything I could afford, and they suggested a Kubota. I ordered it sight unseen by looking at a brochure. I kept it for 8 years.
So there! My true story tops your BS story!
Since they're all D's I guess they're all different?![]()
I can understand the op's frustation (a bit of it, anyway). The question should be (for the op), would you trade the tractor back for your money back if you could?
If the answer is "no", then go forth and be happy with your great little tractor. Personally, it sounds like you got a heck of a deal on a tractor that is almost new and will serve you well for years to come.
Cheers.
