Those are nice ... It appears your vertical welds are up welds ... I've never learned vertical up I have to do vertical down ... I know call me backwards.

Yes all up hill. On the whole in structural welding vertical down hill is not allowed. But pipe lines and other pipe welding is done vertical down hill everyday.

Ill start using the up more to see if I can master it .. Down comes more natural therefore I tend to lean towards that!!

NAW ,,, I got pictures of some Chinese welds !!!!

The difference with Chinese welds is they go top to bottom, whereas American welds go left to right. And then in the Middle East, they go right to left. If you ever see an American product with welds running right to left, you know they hung the welder upside down by his feet to get it done. And if it has welds going up and down, he was laying on his side. Ask Shield Arc--he was a structural welder. He'll tell you all about it.
