Do they make this type of snowblower?

wow, i cant even imagine spending 11k to put a snowblower on something, much less a compact tractor. more power to you; but thats insane!

naa, didnt even think twice about it. was going to spend at least 6k in a well built rear unit. but after 14 years of driving backwards my neck said enough.

we get lots of snow in north idaho. its been worth every penny i spent. id do it again in a heartbeat.

mind you, i sold my old tractor for $10,500 so the blower only cost me about $500

How does that setup work? I know the PTO drives a pump but how do you turn th blower off, disengage PTO?

the pto controls everything. it also has 4 built in electric over hudraulic valves that control chute rotation and chute up and down for distance of throw. Since its hydraulic theres NO shear pins.....none.

I just love not having to mess with those things. I can blow snow for 3-4 hours in a heated cab wearing t shirt and bunny slippers (well....i could but dont wear the slippers).

i never have to touch the snow.

the control of the chute is done thru a hand grip unit blower control 9.jpg

Mount an easy-to-find rear blower on the rear, then turn your seat sideways like these guys.

So to disengage the blower you disengage the PTO?

I'll just throw this out there for you to chew on. Every now and then the front blowers do come up for sale used. Even if you ended up buying the subframe / quick hitch new, you have several options on finding a used front blower. First, depending on the width you need to cover your tire tracks, you can use the BX blower, the B series blower, and even the big L series blower. They are all made by RAD up in Canada and the nose of the quick hitches are all the same. As an added bonus, RAD also makes , or made, the front blowers for Massey Ferguson and New Holland (as well as Honda and no doubt others)..... so you may find a deal on one in red or blue.

FWIW , I have the B2782 on my B3030 and its a snow munching beast.. The blower is very stout. I have the hydraulic chute rotation as well as the hydraulic chute deflector and its a joy to operate. I have had a rear blower in the past and I wouldn't go back.

yes. which is a toggle switch for me

I had always wondered how they worked. It is a cool setup and the power pack opens a lot of options for you.
