Kubota B2620
Ok so I want to update to a new Kubota. What I have is a b7510 w/332hrs,fel [la272],60"mmm[rck60-24b], power bagger that mounts on the back for the mower, two sets of tires [turf and r4s], 60" power angle blade for the front [f2019], and 50" front mount two stage snow blower [b2650] w/ electric chute rotation. Everything is in good condition and was stored in side. The blower and mmm are all most new. Dealer gave me quote on trade in but I think I can do better selling outright. I have manuals for everything but the plow. This a good all season package that I would like to sell all together. Not looking to break it up at this time. I have looked at tractorhouse and few other sites none of them have a package set up like this. I know prices vary a lot by region. A new set up like this is in the mid twenties depending on the dealer. Any help with pricing or comments is greatly appreciated. This is the best place to get information. Thanks.

That sure sounds like a great package. Start high enough. Nice clean used tractors are scarce here.

You just want to update?

332 hours is not much. If you wanted to size up, that'd make more sense, but if it were me, I'd keep it and avoid the new emissions stuff. Or at least wait a couple years to make sure it works the way it's supposed to.

He did say update. I totally agree if that's the case. I was thinking upsize. My B7500 had 1,100 hours on it when I sold it to go bigger. Had it not been for wanting a bigger tractor, the 10 year old B7500 would have been OK for another 20 years.

About a year ago I decided to upgrade from my 8 year old B7510 with 350 hours and FEL to a new B2920 with FEL. I kept my other implements. It's always hard to figure how you make out on a trade in as you are essentially making 2 deals. However, I ended up paying around a balance of $6,200 for the B2920. It was quoted at $16,595, so you could say I got around 10k for my 7510 which by the way was immaculate. Not sure if this helps, but there are some similarities. I bought it from Messicks West of Harrisburg PA as even though I live in NY, they gave me the best deal.

If you updating to a new B can't you use the implements on the new tractor? Me personally I won't buy used tools and implements unless they are at least half off what I can get new. I like shiny paint and recourse if there is an issue.

I've not traded anything in, cars, trucks, tractors, boats, RVs etc for decades.

The dealer always needs to make 10%-20% on the re-sale of the trade-in or he cannot stay in business. I get that.

So, if I list it privately, using Craigs or Trader, or whatever, the sale usually goes very, very well. Good picture, good marketing and a fair price. I cannot hope to get what the dealer would get, but I sure as heck can pocket half that margin. I just cannot give away a grand or two on trading things in for wholesale so the dealer can re-sell for retail. Many people prefer the trade in and wash your hands method. Each to their own.

Personally, re-selling is not hard, if priced right and dead clean when shown, as my stuff is. Having sold a couple dozen of various vehicles of all types, over the last 30 years, the amount of money we're talking about is substantial. Collectively, REALLY substantial. I dunno.

Well I must have priced it right. The whole package sold in 3 days for north of 13k. I had owned this setup for 6 yrs and did not lose anything. What I had invested in the tractor and attachments is what it sold for and I put 225hrs on it. First guy to look at it drove 2hrs and bought it. Came back sat and picked it up. Had lots of calls. Know its time to go and buy a new one. Thanks to all who replied to this thread.
