too much oil problems?

$8 plus a trip to HF and the problem ISN"T solved. 1/2" ID tube won't fit down a TC35 dipstick tube. OP is out $8, wasted trip, has a useless transfer pump, and still needs to bend over and drain some oil out the old fashioned way.

No you picky people - first of all it's a handy thing to have and can be used to transfer other fluids. It's got a small tube that fits DOWN the dipstick. Does the TC35 have a NON-standard dipstick?

I used one when the "VW trained with 10 years experience" dips$%^t at the local garage overfilled my VW TDI oil by about 3/4 liter. Thus I didn't have to drop the "skid plate" and slide under the VW.

"Loosen the drain plug" usually results in a mess. The only mess from the siphon was wrapping up the tube in a paper towel afterwards.

I changed the oil and filter on my NH35A, and overfilled. It's well over the full line on the dipstick. What should i do:
a) Ignore it
b) Run it w/ the dipstick out and let some oil spill out.
c) remove plug and drain some.

I was pointing out a 4th inexpensive relatively CLEAN alternative. Even better would be an oil vac, but they cost $$.

When one uses an oil extractor on a TDI there is always .75 liter of old oil left in the pan; thus the reason for the overfill.

I extract all oil from the top on most cars these days except for some of those that I KNOW will leave oil in the pan.

So if you insist on calling me a "picky person" for explaining that your surefire cure for the OP's dilemma is a waste of his time & money as it relates to his immediate need, I'm fine with that. That's the info on the AD. Did you see the smaller tubes and adapters? Dipstick Tubing Size 1/4 IN. D x 47 IN. L. In the manual, which is part of the info HF provides.

And I know it works because I've used it.

1/4" ID thin wall tubing might fit. Maybe.

The real issue is why go drive? minutes / miles, spend fuel, and time, and money on the pump, when a paper towel and 1 minute with a wrench is what's needed.

I've never seen someone so afraid of a wrench or a real oil change setup in my life.!!!

B is your best option . Also pull the plug on the trans and open petcock on radiator and go mow for an hour . This will relieve your overfill situation .
