Isn't cheaper to make an extension cord istead of making leads?
I prefer to have the welder 10' away that 50 feet but, what do I know?:ashamed:

I thought about that, but after using my new machine and cart I don't think my welding cart will roll very good outside and I think I will be doing a lot of welding out the side door of my garage. I think it works better for me if I leave the welder parked by the outlet. I've seen 100' of #2 cable for about $150 plus about $25 for 2 sets of connectors. A 25' 8/3 extension power cord is about $60 x 2 . It will cost $55 more to have the leads.
