mahindra 2615 gear
first off let me say this 2615 has been good to me for about 6yrs of mowing, bucket loading, raking and some jobs where the machine was not big enough (are they ever big enough?)..

where is the hyd drain plug? I found two large plugs in the rear but don't want to remove the wrong hardware.
this is manual tranny..looks like the gearbox and front loader share the same fluid

the two 24mm plugs on the bottom (rear axles) seem to be hyd drains, at least that's what came out..

that is all the same source for tranny, loader, correct? I wouldn't want to have empty rear axles...thank you

oh, and there was no water in there but thanks again for the suggestion

hyd filter wix $13 does that sound right? and what about this "universal" hyd oil at Tractor supply, don't we need type 32?

Those are the correct plugs.

Those plugs drain all of the hydraulic fluid in your tractor.

A hydraulic filter for $13.00 sounds way too cheap. You will be better off with the factory replacement. Wrong filters have caused engine failure in a 2615. As for the universal fluid, I've been using it for several hundred hours with excellent performance.

That is twice the price I paid at my dealer.
