Sometimes I wonder if I would even have any wood if it wasn't for the big stuff that on one else wanted. But I go for the free stuff because the outside wood burner really doesn't care if it's oak or pine it all burns and produces heat.

I lucked out this summer there was a large construction project in the area and my brother and myself got all of the wood all we had to do was pay for trucking otherwise it would all have been disposed of. This is part of it, all total I think I have around 3 to 4 years of wood.

same here- all the wood in the post was free from my sisters place -they were putting in a new drive way and those trees had to go. no complaints- she saved me about $1400 in having to buy fire wood already
