Okay here is a pic of my new top -n-tilt (courtesy of Fit Rite Hydraulics -- Thank You!).
Bonus pic shows the tool box I mounted today. A bit home-made in the thinking, but I built a cradle for the tool box so I can lift the tool box out when I want. The cradle was made from an old open-top plastic box/case, cut in half then separated by just about 16 inches to accommodate my channel lock tool box -- 26 x 10 x 10 -- and then mounted the plastic on a wood frame made from scraps found round the shop. I halved the plastic box so I have an opening to look through when I remove the tool box and can see down to the three point hitch without removing the cradle.
I did a large cutout in the plywood base on the bottom of the cradle so that I can remove the gas cap and fill the tank without removing the cradle. Works well! (Have burned through my first 25 hours on the tractor pretty quick and had need for a refill).
Cradle mounts with one bolt through an open hole in the ROPs, and rests on industrial strength velcro attached to the tractor and the bottom of the cradle frame (so nothing gets to rub on the pretty yellow tractor). And because the tractor is new I even painted the wood frame yellow to sort of match.
I know that I am new to tractor stuff and it seems like a bit much, but I had already filled up the tiny compartments they put on the tractor and needed a home for a big wrench, chains and odds and ends. Looked on this site and the internet to purchase something but seems like no real products out there.
