I'm not pestering. The dealer is very accommodating and as it is, I'm studying for a state real estate broker test anyway.

No worries from my end.
What dealer are you using? I bought from Bobcat of Ottertail, No regrets, I am 120 miles from the dealer though so when I bought mine I got the extra remote kits sent to me and installed them myself, Easy to do, all 3 valves are interchangeable on my RX6010I have one detented and 2 standard but I removed the check balls from the detented valve cause I just don't need it right now and it was easy to push the lever to far and catch the detent.

So you can get 3 factory remotes now? That is new..

Yes, on the RX6010 anyway, not sure on the NX, I am guessing the remote valves might be the same piece on the newer tractors. On the 6010 you just get the valve, cable lever and longer mounting bolts as the valves just stack on top of each other, you could stack 10 of them but there is only room for 3 levers and cables on the tractor.

Man, I'd be dying!

In one of your videos you mention the DPF regen not being indicated on the dash...do you know any of the details of the regen cycle?

Bob at MI&E told me he's on the Kioti advisory board/committee, and he said the dealers told them the same thing....keep those standard, because everybody is going to buy them anyway, even if it meant a bump in price. For whatever reason, they didn't want to do that. I can't see spending $31K and not getting remotes or the rear wiper....the stereo I can see doing yourself if you have the time/skills.

We've had our NX4510HST cab for two months. Very happy with it. I'll add a few thoughts to what's been mentioned thus far. Our dealer added the two rear remotes for just $150 each. Also added the rear windshield wiper for the same, as I recall without looking at the invoice. Having the stereo as an option was actually a plus for me. The factory radio was around $300, and came with a CD player, which was of no use to me now that MP3 eliminates the need for disks, and MP3 won't skip in the bumps. I also wanted NOAA weather band capability, which the stock unit doesn't have. For $45 I added a Pyle AM/FM stereo with VHF weather band and a USB port. Only needed to clip off the NX's factory female plug, trace the wires, and hook up the Pyle harness with wire nuts. The factory antenna wasn't sufficient for good reception of the VHF signal in our area. That was easy to remedy by unscrewing the stalk and replacing it with a DIY antenna for a few bucks.

I'll add another thing that hasn't been mentioned. Yes, the relocation of the fuel tank and fill spout to below the frame makes filling much easier than on the DK series (Kubota has done the same for its Grand L 60 series, and probably other models), BUT there is a loss of ground clearance. Not from the protective skid pan, but from a strut below the tank that appears to have been added to prevent high-centering on the tank. This may be an important fact for some folks.

Another problem with all of the new 60 hp machines (the entire MF1700 series and NX series for that matter near as I know) is that nobody has puzzled out top and tilt kits yet and I'd like to just throw money at the problem and bolt something on than horse around thinking about it.

I'm hoping another NX owner will be able to share with me where to go or what get for a clean top and tilt kit. [snip]

Give Brian a call at Fit Rite Hydraulics. He took measurements for the NX series at a recent ag show and can build a nice top 'n tilt package for you. I just haven't gotten around to ordering one yet for our NX4510HST cab.

The loader support bar that ties at the rear axle from the loader tower reduces ground clearance on the passenger side to around 9 inches near the fuel tank. They could have ran it between the frame and fuel tank pretty easy but did not. It could be fixed pretty easy but not sure what that would do to the warranty.

Elite Lift Truck, just down the road so-to-speak. Ottertail is closer to Nevis, but Elite is on the way to the TCs and since I'm a mechanic, Elite agreed to blind drop ship any parts I want and I'm comfortable with that. Attachments are going to come from all over.

Will do since that it one of those problems I want to throw money at to go away. :)

Glad to hear its working out well for you! A couple of questions, if you don't mind:

Did the factory CD player also have AM/FM? It sounds like it doesn't have an input for an iPod, or similar MP3 player, or am I mistaken? How does the regen work on the DPF? There are a couple of ways that can happen, but I haven't seen anything on how the NX handles it. Thanks!
