Deck Shell for John Deere LT-155 42 inch mulching deck

Hi,

We have a John Deere LT-155 which we've owned since 2000. Sadly the mower deck has now rusted and needs replacement.
Our local JD dealers say the decks are marked as obsolete.

Does anyone know where I can try to get a replacement? I only need the shell but would be happy to buy a complete deck.

Appreciate any help you can give.

I bought a complete 48" deck last summer for a 1999 GT 235. I didn't think the price was all that bad. The thing mows beautifully. Came complete, belts and all. I just bolted her up and went.

I'm looking for a 42 inch mulching deck.
I've previously tried contacting ShopGreenDealer about whether they can ship to United Kingdom. I'll try them again but it doesn't look like they have the 42 inch deck.

When I had my JD 332, I priced a new deck, no spindles, belts etc, just the steel deck and John Deere wanted $1200 USD for it. I think mine was only made up to 1984 and it was still available so your 2000 model should still be in stock. I elected to put some steel patches on mine which worked great. Not so pretty but effective.

Sorry to hear that Graham. It'd be a shame to have a functional tractor with a bum deck.
