This is almost comical. Stickers don't electrocute anyone, and if a single Everlast welder did (aside from stinger voltage (which is an expected voltage source) wouldn't this have come up by now?

I bet the sticker was lucrative for attorneys, lucky they found it. Also lucky they still have access to use our justice system to get significant riches from the consumers.

So, perhaps the welders were CE certified and should have had the CE label but had the CSA label on them. That would explain why the RCMP isn't doing a "return it for your money back" recall and would also explain why Everlast said: "These units could have been properly labeled with another logo issued by another credentialing agency but were not"

CSA is a NON-PROFIT organization, but don't feel bad... your level of ignorance hardly excels on this board.

Might want to re-read the post you responded to and that sub-conversation, they were talking about organizations in California who's only point in existing is to go and sue businesses who aren't fully compliant with ADA accessibility requirements.
Also, nonprofit only means that you have to spend all the money you make each year.

Well I have two Everlast machines in the shop right now. Neither one of them scare me. Maybe the reason they don't scare me, is I know how to work them. Hey I got a good idea, why don't you fly into Seattle, I'll pick you up at Sea-Tac airport, and give you some welding lessons too!

It's pretty easy for you to sound like a wizard on a board populated primarily with farmers and, no doubt, that helps you sell welding machines.

But I am a welder too... here are some shots from my last job, And I can guarantee you there are no Everlast welding machines on this site.

Far as teaching me how to weld... I guess that's a value judgement... but I make a living welding pipe in some of the most demanding environments there are.

Everlast lied to me and sold me something that, upon investigation by the police, has become immediately worthless.

I want my money back.

I could be wrong but I believe that all the PAC's are 501(c)(4) nonprofits (not the Super PACS just the PACS) and since they are clearly non-profits they, much like the oh so often mentioned CSA non-profit, could not ever be accused of having an agenda that is not in the best interest of only the normal folks and not themselves and never for an agenda other than the well being of the public at large.

Not saying that is the case here, but just because it has been beaten to death that they are a nonprofit does not make them holier-than-thou. Results that benefit others, not non-profit status is what counts. They are probably an outstanding organization and they try very hard to defend their turf.

Has it crossed anyone's line-of-thought that maybe just maybe that there is a link between any individual or family member in this thread and the aforementioned CSA employees list? Maybe the vitriol is not just about Everlast and their mistake but goes farther. Probably not but it did pass by briefly.

Still wonder about that vet visit.
