... THE CAT 1 & CAT 2 ATTACHMENTS HAVE NO COMMON MEASUREMENTS....

I didn't see common #s on TractorData's info page.

Not sure of QH-compatibility specs, but most all of my seven tools (sorry I lied earlier & said 'six')
are not to ASAE spec for Cat 1 & wouldn't cut 'QH' without mods. Three that are closest to fitting have PTO shafts. :confused3:

btw: my stuff 'hangs' best with either 'short' or 'long' top link. $25 at TSC for an extra one, & tweaks are but a few turns vs spinning in/out for 4" or so.

Is it JD that has a setup with Q-PTO too?

Having a PTO shaft doesn't preclude you from using a QH. My Woods rotary cutter is QH compatible and hooks up easily.

If you never want to mess with a top link again, TNT makes hooking up a breeze!

If there's a faster, easier way to change attachments than a QH & TNT setup I would like to hear about it.

I have one of Pat's Easy Change cat 1 packages but since I use a hydraulic top link it has been inconvenient as my top link max extension is just shy of what would allow me to use it easily. This is because the kit moves the attachment point on the 3pt rearward. I mention this as a purchase consideration for new buyers. I am in Kentucky and need to move it off my workbench. PM me if it might be useful to you.

Good call IMO  & I bet you won't hear that. :)

bcp, thanks for posting. 'Savers' for sure.

chilibit, I toyed with the idea of replacing lift arms with 3" -4" shorter ones. (generic, easy to find) Seems like they would be ~$50 - $75 per for my Cat 1 NH & only you'd have to match-up the front holes' diameter. Cost/convenience compared to replacing TNT? Didn't go that far myself ... yet.

Would add a wee bit of leverage to counterweight for FEL to just accept the extra length, but with the usual sacrificing clearance to maneuver with an implement on there.

I use JD imatch and think it is faster and easier than PEC. I buy only QH compatible implements. If they daunt make um QH compatible they are a wanna be implement company.

Not to further any debate, I'd bought my QH after having already picked up the back blade, subsoiler, etc and they weren't to ASAE spec, meaning no clearance for the top hook. Then I sized up my other, heavier stuff (box blade, brush hog, tiller).

There would be some tweaking to uniform the spacing shown as 'N' in the first chart above and 'F1' in the second, esp on the BH with its bent & twisted struts. Buying a few bits by price had cost me the convenience of using QH, so that's just me getting in late & now not wanting to replace things I use the least to get the better setup.

Anyone just starting out, building their fleet of attachments, might want to be sure their stuff was QH compatible from the git. It could make PEC less of the 'band-aid' I sought to er' 'bail my bacon'. :duh: btw: I'll still have to by extension(s) for PTO shaft(s) to use either 'quickie'...

The PTO extension is not too expensive. It is just an inconvenience.
