Looking for a Replacement Part - Dinoil Control Valve

Hello All,

I'm new to this forum and from scanning though, I see that there's a wealth of information here . . . fantastic! I have a Yanmar 1500D and my hydraulic control valve for the front loader appears to be defective. I've had problems with it before, cleaned it out and it worked fine for awhile, but now I'd like to replace the whole valve body. Anyone know where I can purchase this item? I prefer a new one, however a good working refurbished or re-built one would be okay. Many thanks to all.

I bought a Prince LVT1GB5AB1 ($230 from Amazon) for the same repair.

This valve has Float (essential for back-dragging) but not Regeneration (accelerated dump feature, $100 more).

Here's a thread where I asked all the novice questions before making this repair. Summary of that thread: Just buy this valve.

Thank you so much for the great answer . . . and so quickly! Without further ado, I went ahead and ordered one through Amazon per your recommendation. I don't know when you bought yours but the price certainly hasn't changed much. It was $232.75; can't beat that. Many thanks again!

That price quote is close because ... I looked up their current price before posting it.

Mine was $215 in early 2013.

Here's Prince's description of LVT1GB5AB1. Note (chart, lower half of page) they specify no Regen.
They apparently used a generic photo there - it doesn't look like that. Shown below is what LVT1GB5AB1 really looks like. It mounts with the handles up and the ports on the bottom.


And JJ here's how you can learn their various model #'s to know if a Prince valve has Regen.

I'm going to show how dumb I am.. What is regen and is there a benefit to having it ? I have no idea if my loader valve has regen or not. it does have float, as I can float the bucket

I think - and somebody who knows something can probably improve this description - that when dumping the bucket forward, Regen diverts the fluid that would have drained back to the reservoir from the decreasing-volume forward side of the cylinder. Instead of going to the reservoir, this fluid is routed to the back side of the piston to double the amount of fluid pushing the bucket forward.

Result, an accelerated dump action. This is important where time = money moving dirt. Not so important for my use, I use the loader mostly with loader forks.
