Goodbye wooly croton, nightshade, bullnettle, bastard cabbage,, et. al.

First light in the morning and zero wind, spraying a few tanks of GrazonNext on pasture.

Go get the little bastards! I hate bugs...especially mosquitoes and green heads, and deer flies! They make mowing and enjoying a yard almost impossible!

Actually GrazonNext is a broadleaf herbicide. Just trying to clean up the pasture a bit. :)

Me and GrazonNext are on a first-name basis.

My arch-enemy is Goatweed. It is war I'm telling you.

I hear ya, I dont like using chemicals just too often, but with the cost of hay and fertilizer I just dont wanna be feeding all these **** weeds any more than I have to.

Sprayer 4-9-12 003.jpgSprayer 4-9-12 002.jpgHow often do you use the GrazonNext?
I use Grazon (great stuff), but have not used GrazonNext.
It has been a few years since I had to use. Do you need an applicators license to apply?
I had to show mine when ever I bought some at our local feed store.
My sprayer is similar to yours...I love it!

Nice looking rig you have there !

In Texas Grazon products are restricted use, so yes I have a private applicator license.

I am using GrazonNext instead of the older P+D because I dont want Picloram in the soil, this newer product has Aminopyralid. I try to only use it once a year, as per the label you are not supposed to use no more than 2.1 pints-per-acre a year, and no more than two applications a year. I may, however, use some Pastora later this summer to rotate and get other target species and help get the johnson grass also.
