Bill, Im sure you have a good resource for CEU's on your license, but I have found a guy who offers a REALLY helpful alternative to getting CEUs, and its affordable and very convenient.

His name is David Gaugh Texas Pest Control Courses - Texas Pest Control CEU Classes |

He offers a Private Applicator 10-hour 'at-home' recertification package for around $100. This package you do at home at your own pace and mail back to him to be graded. You still have to get the requisite 5-hours of class time somewhere, but Davids at-home package makes its LOTS easier to get the other 10-hours needed for recertification.

If you are curious, give David a call and he can explain better. Hes a nice guy and travels all over Texas teaching, his number is at the bottom of that page.

Thanks for the link. Our county extension service puts on CEU classes every January. I attend these and I accumulate more CEUs than I need to qualify for my renewal. I enjoy going and spending the day learning.

Sounds like you got it all going right Bill, well done. May I ask what foam marker you have?

I'm sorry for the late reply. I have a Salvarani Model TJ EV-24 Foam Marker Kit. I purchased it through my local Kubota dealer and it came from Ag-Meier and fit my Ag-Meier Model QHD sprayer without any (drilling, cutting, welding, etc.) modifications. I've only had one problem the switch on the tractor mounted console that changes the foam output from side to side. I contacted Salvarani at their US office and they promptly sent a replacement. The replacement has worked flawlessly for several years. It works great and now I don't leave skips in the application and/or don't unnecessarily overlap wasting expensive chemical.

Thanks Appreciate it.

I just got done spraying the pastures yesterday. Done 60 acres with Grazon P+D,I thought about switching to the NEXT but like the P+D for only spraying once. I use 2-4D on the hay meadow so I don't have to wait as long if need to bale it.

Its made by Ag-Meier. If you go back and read the beginning of this thread there is a link to their website. As I recall it is 16' boom and covers 18' swath.

I really dont need the Picloram so I just use GrazonNext these days. I may rotate with CimmaronMax in the future.

60 acres is quite a bit, Im sure your rig has a much bigger tank !!
