So I just finished putting it all back they way I had it with the shut off valves like they were.
Can we all agree with the valves closed and operating the tractor would be no problem at all.
and the only time there would be a problem is when the valves are closed and you try and lower the outriggers.
Correct?
Last question what is the maximum pressure a cylinder like that can hold? 3000 4000 5000 ? You saw the video was that over pressure for that piston?
I would agree with this, and also add that if you got in the habit of setting the riggers at idle then you'd really not have to worry..
Why? Pressure is constant, only the flow is variable with RPM.
As I said before, a relief valve across the cyl would provide safe operation or warning..

I have the valve on the piston rod end now.
The first part of the video shown is on the bottom of the cylinder. While it had the relief valve I don't think
the fluid is leaking by that end. I still think the outriggers would drop if installed on that end. I guess I could
try it.
