can't tell if the "cutting edge" is bolt on or welded on.
can't tell if cutting edge is straight or curved
can't tell if there is a rear cutting edge.
it has min supports between bar that holds the rippers and back rear, so adding a little extra weight if needed, will be extremely hard
the bar that holds the rippers. how hard is it to clean out the dust, mud, little rocks that may get jambed up underneath.
i like my shear bolts and/or auto trips, for what ever reason, for rippers, to allow them to spin back and out of the way. i guess reason is i tend to abuse equipment, dropping stuff down and going like mad, from snagging tree roots, to larger rocks in ground, to other. *thinking all along can my machine and attachment do this or that i will not know if i don't try* will the rippers bend, and break away, or will the bar that holds the rippers bend some? or will the 3pt hitch on rear of tractor take a beating?
EDIT: i guess the way rippers are now a days (googling and clicking over on images), everyone wants quick adjustment on the rippers. vs having to deal with another bolt or pin per ripper. *shrugs*
