If you have a marina near, they will have non-eth gas.I use Startron and it seems to work.

About the price difference between horse p_ss ethanol and real gas ... Studies show non-ethanol fuel produces more power and better mpg ( about 10 percent ). If the pump price is within 10 percent, you're doing alright on cost.
your right kioti. I would pay up to $1.00 a gallon more for real gas instead of this ethanol CRAP! Kind of like dpf in new diesels ,no benefit for us consumers just more expensive bills to fix our equipment

A fine liberal response.

Ethanol, as others have noted is crap. My small motorhome gets at least 10% worse mileage with alcohol laced fuel. After figuring in costs and hydrocarbon fuel squandered in shoving ethanol fuel down our throats (well, the necks of our gas tanks anyway) it comes up to a solid net loss for everyone but those financially involved in its production.

No, I think he is a corn grower.

Here it is a 1.40 a gal more.

1.40 more? That is steep! Normally runs between 15 - 35 cents extra around here.

Maybe he was talking about Marine grade. That is about what the Shell station is getting for Marine Grade which I assumed is non-ethanol blend of premium grade gasoline. Last time I stopped there I think the marine grade was about $1.50 higher than 87 octane.

You guys, quit your crying; it's not even available around here. You may be able to get non-ethanol at an air strip, if you can talk them into selling it to you

I think you're on to something.
"We are not using the food supply to make ethanol"

That's about as far as I could digest, All I could hear as I tried to read further was something like blaa, blaa, blaa.... That's what my mind does to certain salesmen pitches.

Reminds me of my high school days. I had a friend that worked for an aviation service. They had fuel with REAL octane ratings ... 105+. I bought many tanks for my muscle car. Seems I was paying around 70 cents when regular pump prices were in the 30 cent range. Even public pumps were dispensing up to 101 octane at the time. It embarrasses me to put 87 octane in anything above a Lawnboy.
